Habitat for Humanity Victoria (HFHV) is part of a global organisation, working in more than 70 countries worldwide towards its vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Established in 1976, Habitat for Humanity International is the world’s number one for-purpose provider of housing and improved shelter for low income people in need. 

HFHV builds safe and secure homes and undertakes home repairs, all aimed at building strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter. Without access to affordable housing, people risk being trapped in poverty and lack a foundation. Together we build brighter futures, stronger foundations, healthier and more resilient families.

While our work is strongly focused on the needs of vulnerable households in Victoria, we also provide support to families in Cambodia through our Home for a Home initiative. Every time we build a house in Victoria, we build one for a family in need in Cambodia also.
