House Dedication: Celebrating Crib Point

The Habitat community came together in celebration as Emily* received the keys to her new home at a recent House Dedication ceremony. These keys represent far more than entry to a house, they open the door to stability, safety, and a fresh start.

Built with care and compassion by Habitat for Humanity Victoria’s dedicated supporters, donors, partners and volunteers, Emily’s home marks a significant milestone being the final house build completed as part of this project. 

This project has seen multiple families move into safe, affordable homes; each one built through the collective effort and generosity of our incredible community. With thousands of hours given by our local Rosebud ReSt

ore volunteers and partnerships with like-minded brands such as Dulux, Selleys and Hilti, this home already houses tales of unity, generosity and community.

Emily’s home stands as a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when people come together with a shared vision: to provide decent, safe, and affordable housing for families who have faced adversity.

The day was filled with heartfelt moments, happy tears, bright smiles, warm hospitality, and a deep sense of community spirit. Hope filled the air as those who contributed to this build saw first hand the lasting impact of their generosity and hard work.
