together, we collaborate with housing organisations for greater impact
Strong housing partnerships help more people find and keep a safe place to call home. Through our Housing Partner collaborations, we work alongside community housing organisations to support the maintenance and presentation of properties, helping reduce vacancies and ensure homes are ready for the people who need them most.

With the support of our corporate partners, we coordinate volunteer teams to assist with practical property improvements such as painting, gardening, and general outdoor clean-ups. These volunteer days help lighten the maintenance load for housing organisations while creating welcoming spaces for residents.

For housing providers, this means:
reduced labour and maintenance costs
faster property readiness and fewer vacancies
additional hands for projects that often sit on the to-do list
positive engagement between community, corporate volunteers,
and housing organisations

impact story

Sarah from Cockatoo was a recipient of the Storm Recovery program. She’s faced an enormously challenging year, with her father moving in due to a serious and sudden health issue, requiring renovations for disability access. Soon after, her husband was diagnosed with terminal cancer and sadly passed away.
The storms in June caused multiple trees to fall on her property and damage fences. Now facing the work as a single mother; it was beyond her physical and emotional capacity. Our recovery team came in and removed meters of debris and split and stacked multiple cubic meters of firewood.

Sarah reflected Habitat for Humanity 's team "made me feel like I wasn't doing it alone. I felt people cared and there was a community around me, like there was some weight lifted from my shoulders."
