The Ascott Ltd recently donated more than 200 pieces of high-quality designer furniture to our ReStore.

Rather than sending usable furniture items to landfill, The Ascott Ltd partnered with Project Net Zero, an Indigenous owned social enterprise providing national de-fit services with a circular economy model, to ensure that surplus furniture is redirected to front-line charities.

The ReStore team has been working with Project Net Zero for some time and is so appreciative of their support in facilitating the donation of such high-quality goods.

These furniture donations bring incredible quality and value to our ReStores, which raise vital funds for our mission and impact.

If you know of a business who would like to create reuse outcomes for surplus furniture, please contact Phil Wright, our Social Enterprise Lead at restore@habitat.org.au.

Great initiative highlighted in this article—restoring habitats while promoting net-zero thinking really shows how sustainability and community impact can work together. Projects like this demonstrate that environmental responsibility is not just about protecting nature, but also about rethinking how resources are reused, reduced, and repurposed in practical ways.

Interestingly, this same circular approach is also visible in hospitality and real estate, where reuse and responsible sourcing of materials play a big role. For example, thoughtful airbnb furniture choices can reduce waste while still creating comfortable, high-quality guest experiences. Whether it’s environmental restoration or sustainable design, the core idea remains the same: building systems that last longer and waste less.

Hello forum, I recently came across something mentioned casually in a discussion and decided to explore it later during a peaceful evening. Seven Play Casino was no big promotion or excitement around it, which actually made it feel more natural to check out. What stood out was how easy it was to settle in without confusion or pressure. My first attempts were rushed and didn’t go well, but once I slowed down and approached things calmly, the experience became far more enjoyable. I didn’t walk away with anything dramatic, yet finishing relaxed and in a positive mood felt like a small win here in Australia

Great article! Small furniture pieces often make the biggest difference in home décor. The Riva Side Table is a wonderful example of a piece that offers both style and convenience. It’s perfect for placing a lamp, coffee, or decorative items. Simple designs like this can easily upgrade any living space.
